As we prepared for the harvest of these old Monastrell vines, we took one last peaceful stroll through the vineyards and what a moment it was. With day time temperatures reaching into the high 30ºC the grapes exhaled a sigh of relief with the setting sun and the extreme drop of the temperature that came with it.

Extreme Temperatures
The extreme changes between day and nighttime temperatures prolong the ripening time of the berry and as a result the quality and concentration of the juice is amazing, and just what we are looking for in the Monastrell.
